 There’s something a bit magical in the way spirits are made.  Sure, most of it’s science, different boiling points allowing ethanol to be separated from water. But the flavors and nuances of a spirit come from the inexact melding of flavors on the molecular level, influenced by the design of the copper pot still, water chemistry and the hands that coax the liquor to life.

Warfield has three copper pot stills—one 215 gallon copper gin still made in Washington State and two 1000 gallon whiskey stills made by Forsyth in Scotland.  These stills are the backbone of the distillery and help produce the unique and award-winning flavors of our organic gin, organic American Whiskey, and organic brandy.

All of our spirits are handcrafted in the mountains of Ketchum, Idaho. We distill nothing but the best!

Warfield Organic American Whiskey is distilled from organic pale and crystal malts in our Scottish-made pot still and aged in traditional Ex-Bourbon barrels. Our whiskey is mashed, fermented, and distilled entirely in-house from the best organic malts we can get our hands on.

Our Whiskey has won gold medals from the American Craft Spirit Awards and the San Francisco International Spirits Competition.

PROOF: 94 / ABV: 47%

NOSE: Honey, cocoa, and vanilla

TASTE:  Rich flavors of toffee, milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and barley.

FINISH:  Smooth finish with a lingering spice.

THE WATER: We only use our local water that flows to us from the surrounding Northern Rocky Mountain peaks. The water is high in mineral content and as pure as water can come.

BASE SPIRIT: Distilled from a blend of organic 2-row & organic crystal malts.

Highlighting organic botanicals like douglas fir tips, sage, and of course juniper, it is smooth & complex. While it gets along well with friends, creating dynamite cocktails, our gin is just as happy to be sipped alone.

Our gin has won a silver medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

PROOF: 88 / ABV: 44%

NOSE: Spice on the nose with notes of sage, juniper, Douglas Fir tips with a subtle floral quality.

TASTE:  Herbaceous, complex and full-flavored. Notes of cinnamon, sage and juniper marry with bitter, fruity notes from cardamom and coriander.

FINISH: Clean smooth finish, only a whisper of the gin flavors linger on the tongue.

After resting for over 6 months in ex-Bourbon barrels, our beloved organic gin has taken on an additional dimension of smooth, vanilla-laced barrel character. While still capturing the essence of the Idaho wilderness in a bottle, our gin celebrates wilderness botanicals like douglas fir tips, sage, and of course juniper. Lending well to both classic whiskey and gin cocktails alike, our barrel aged gin lends a unique versatility to every cocktail program.

NOSE: Bright juniper and spicy clove meld with vanilla and notes of orange peel, anise, and sage.

TASTE:  Smooth, floral and subtly sweet with orange blossom, baking spices, pink peppercorn, and vanilla bean.

FINISH: Long, lingering finish that is nutty and satisfyingly spicy with hints of herbaceous botanicals.

TASTE:  Smooth flavor, full-bodied with a warming alcohol presence with a touch of wheat sweetness hiding in the background.

FINISH: Neutral yet rounded with a gentle, quickly dissipating burn to remind you that you’re still drinking vodka.
